ISLAND DAY!!!
We did an all day island cruise tour that hit 3 places. The boat had daybeads on it (not shaded) and a small shaded area with tables.
First island stop was Agistri. We got to ride e-bikes down along the coast to get to the beach area. It took about 2 hours to get to and we got to stop for a bit. There is a white building, blue top church down by the beach so if you did want a photo like that but were avoiding Santorini then this is a good island to hit.
Had enough time to stick our feet in the water (FREEZING) and have a drink.
Next stop was Moni which is actually deserted and not a off the boat stop. It is a swimming stop though. Of course I had to jump in even though I hate the cold because I can’t go to Greece and not enter the ocean.
That is also the lunch stop which is made by a cook on board. It was delicious and a very large spread.
Last stop was Pistachio Island (Aegina) where you can, in fact, get almost anything in pistachio. Pistachio butter, ice cream, pistachios, oil, and I’m pretty sure so many other things. They are everywhere so if you are allergic I would reach out to the tour before booking or look for a different one if it’s a sever allergy.
I truly feel like I was born to be on the water. It was a gorgeous day and I loved the boat ride. The islands were very fun to visit. If I ever get to go back I may just book a place on a small island and relax.
This is a great tour to do (or one like it) to get to see some islands but also to stop having to walk so much since so many tours involve a LOT of walking. This was definitely more relaxing than anything.
